There are a lot of people who have trouble prioritizing when it comes to getting all of the PMP training. The training itself isn’t that full on. It’s only 35 hours in class, which is a few hours a week. The hard part is making sure that you get all of the personal study done as well.
The PMI recommends that you match every hour you do at the training location with an extra hour or two (ideally) at home. This means you’re going to have to pull out extra time that you probably never had to get all the theory down pat.
It’s not going to be easy, especially if you like kicking back and relaxing after work. You are going to have to make some sacrifices temporarily but remember, it is for a good cause. Imagine being able to take your family on a holiday with a higher salary!
